About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Delivery Driver to join our team.

• You will be responsible for delivering paint and related products to local PSE customers.
• You will also assist with various tasks at the store when not making deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

1. Operate a company vehicle in accordance with all state and federal laws while maintaining an acceptable personal driving record.
2. Maintain the company vehicle, alerting your supervisor as to any repair or servicing needs.
3. Know the paperwork flow and provide delivery documents as required.
4. Alert sales representatives to possible sales leads given by customers or potential customers.
5. Clean and maintain all areas and equipment as assigned.
6. Make deliveries of product as needed, ensuring customers' quality and service expectations are met.
7. Load merchandise to ensure safety and security.
8. Unload deliveries at customer sites as directed, validating correct shipments with the responsible individual.
9. Return materials, color matches, and tools for repair from customers to the store and/or warehouse.
10. Conduct yourself in a professional manner to ensure customers' quality and service expectations are met.

Additional Duties

1. Assist in filling orders, including proper staging per Company/store policy.
2. Pick up merchandise from local vendors as needed.
3. Assist with inside customer service, as needed, including servicing customers and/or processing their orders.
4. Answer the telephone in a professional manner, answering questions knowledgeably and/or taking customers' orders.
5. Load/unload merchandise from trucks.
6. Match packing slips with purchase orders.
7. Properly dispose of waste cans and product in compliance with Company and Governmental regulations.
8. Assist staff with periodic or annual store inventories.
9. Perform any additional duties or special projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be licensed to operate a vehicle in accordance with state, federal, and provincial law.
• Must have an acceptable driving record from DMV/MTO.
• Must be able to continuously lift up to 70 pounds.
• Candidates must submit to a drug screen and meet acceptable Motor Vehicle Report requirements upon hiring.
