The Engineered Coating Systems Service Manager (ECSSM) is responsible for providing technical and engineering support for FAMIS Inc. a PSE Group Comapy, installed base of equipment, while also assisting with prospective systems and supporting the sales team. This role includes direct supervision of Field Technicians and oversight of preventive maintenance scheduling. The ECSSM will serve as a key liaison between customers, technicians, sales, and management, ensuring system reliability and customer satisfaction across all covered geographies.

Requirements:Key Responsibilities:
Field Service & Preventive Maintenance Oversight
- Develop and maintain a monthly pre-planned schedule for all Field Technicians, including regular customer visits.
- Coordinate and supervise service frequency for key accounts.
Project Management
- Serve as the lead on all system and equipment installations.
- Collaborate with the Sales team to develop quotations, technical specifications, and equipment presentations.
- Coordinate labor, tooling, customer communication, and inspection requirements to ensure successful, timely installations.
Sales Support & Customer Audits
- Partner with Account Managers to conduct technical audits and provide actionable reports to support sales growth.
- All complimentary audits must be pre-approved by management.
- Prepare detailed post-audit reports to be submitted to management and presented to customers with a proposed value-add solution.
- Aim to convert audits into revenue-generating opportunities.
Parts Inventory Management
- Manage inventory of spare parts both internally and at strategic customer locations.
- Conduct an annual review (Q4) to report, relocate, or liquidate slow-moving inventory.
Reporting & Documentation
- Report directly to the Sales Management team.
- Submit service tickets for every customer visit using company-provided forms.
- Collaborate with the team to maintain detailed records of all customer-installed systems and equipment.
Training & Development
- Identify and coordinate training for Field Technicians, customers, and internal staff to ensure up-to-date system knowledge.
- Track training compliance and schedule sessions regularly to support team expertise.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Degree in Engineering or related field
- 2 years experience
- Proven experience in technical service, engineering, or coating system support.
- Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Project management experience preferred.
- Proficiency in customer relationship management and service scheduling.
- Ability to work independently across multiple territories.
- Ability to work all scheduled hours as needed.
- If usage of employee’s own vehicle is required for company business, employee must obtain appropriate insurance per company policy.
- Employee must be licensed to operate vehicle in accordance with state, federal, and provincial law.
- Must have acceptable driving record from DMV/MTO
