Experienced Painter

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential and commercial painting. The Painter will work closely with other tradespeople and contribute to the overall renovation and maintenance of residential and commercial properties.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections.
• Execute precise cutting, masking, and efficient use of basic painting tools.
• Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
• Independently manage smaller painting jobs as required.
• Collaborate in teams of 2-3 to complete interior painting projects in apartment units.
• Conduct renovations that may include basic drywall repair and basic carpentry tasks.
• Utilize hand tools effectively while adhering to safety protocols.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the duration of projects.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Painter; entry-level applicants will not be considered.
• Must possess basic painting tools including brushes, rollers, caulking guns, and toolboxes. A paint sprayer is a plus but is not required.
• Good hygiene is mandatory.
• Must be able to fluently read, write, and speak English, as we deal with many work plans and directions from English speaking clients and customers.

Hours

• Typical schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00AM to 5:00PM
• Flexibility to work on the weekends is a plus.
• Initial schedule may vary with some days without work as operations ramp up; however, full-time hours will quickly become available.

Pay: From $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
