a.teaching sports techniques, playing rules, strategies and playing tactics;
b.conditioning athletes appropriately for activities requiring endurance, strength and agility;
c.supervising and conducting practices and contests safely; supervising locker rooms and buses;
d.teaching sportsmanship, cooperation, work ethic and responsibility to one's team;
e.monitoring athletes' school attendance, grades and personal conduct;
f.responding to player injuries with approved first aid techniques;
g.managing uniforms, equipment and school facilities in a responsible manner;
h.provide coverage for absence of coaches.
