Position: Quality Technician
The Quality Technician will conduct Process Capability Studies (PCS), perform Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA), and assist with Process FMEA to ensure quality and process efficiency. This role also involves supporting the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and preparing first article reports in accordance with aerospace industry standards. The technician will maintain accurate documentation and work to optimize processes while collaborating with teams to foster continuous improvements.
Key Functions:
· Conduct Process Capability Studies (PCS): Perform detailed Process Capability Studies to assess and improve manufacturing processes, ensuring they meet quality and performance standards.
· Execute Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA): Carry out MSE to evaluate the accuracy, precision, and reliability of measurement systems used in production and quality control.
· Facilitate Process FMEA: Conduct and document Process FMEA to identify potential risks, establish root causes, and implement corrective actions to mitigate failures.
· Support PPAP Submissions: Utilize strong PPAP knowledge to assist in the submission and approval of new parts. Ensure the correct documentation is provided for each class of part, with an emphasis on optimizing efficiency.
· Document and Maintain Quality Processes: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for process studies, PPAP submissions, analyses, and improvement actions, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulatory compliance.
· eCAV and Net Inspect Experience (Plus): Prior experience with eCAV (electronic Computer-Aided Verification) and/or Net Inspect systems for tracking, managing, and analyzing quality and inspection data is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience with Production Part Approval Process (PPAP)
· Familiarity with Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA) and Process Capability Studies (PCS).
· Knowledge of Process FMEA and risk mitigation techniques.
· Experience using eCAV (electronic Characteristic Accountability Verification) and/or Net Inspect systems.
· Experience completing First Article Reports in compliance with aerospace industry standards.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
· Ability to collaborate cross-functionally to drive process improvements.
· Familiarity with ISO, AS9100 quality standards and regulatory compliance.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar tools for data analysis and documentation.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.49 - $24.51 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 46 per week
