Sr. Marketing Analyst

Location: Pala, CA

Assist the VP of Marketing in analyzing customer marketing for the purposes of improving cash flow, growth and customer lifetime value. Key duties, not exclusive of other duties assigned:

• Entertainment and Event Post Analysis
• Player Incentive Analysis (Comps, Points, Golf, Offsite Events)
• Advertising Channel and Conversion Analysis (regressing spend to revenue)
  • New member campaigns
  • Entertainment campaigns
  • Restaurant campaigns
  • Hotel campaigns
  • Off-property event campaigns
• Hotel Analysis including rates and offers
• Slot Marketing Analysis- connecting games to marketing offers
• Market analysis e.g. extrapolating market share, white space
• Work directly with departments to provide end-result reports and analysis.  Responsible for assisting in developing, coordinating and implementing all aspects and activities of the database in accordance with the mission and objectives of Pala Casino and established policies, procedures and controls.

Qualifications:

• Familiar with all aspects of analytics in the customer journey from awareness to loyalty.
• Experienced in statistical analytics and segmentation including regressions, time-series analysis, k-means, random forest, et al.
• 5   years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server – writing complex stored procedures, queries and functions, creating views, tables and databases.
• PowerBI, Lookr, Tableau, etc  – creating complex reports and dashboards.
• Microsoft Excel.
• Math, Computer Science, or an analytical background required with an in-depth knowledge of spreadsheets and database applications necessary.
• A strong preference will be made for applicants with a background in relational and multi-dimensional database management and/or design, data warehouse management, query and report writing.
• CRM experience and/or related casino and resort experience a plus.
• Excellent arithmetic, analytical, grammatical and computer skills with a high level of accuracy.
• Experience in software and systems development. (Understanding of the software development life-cycle helpful, but not required).
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Excellent knowledge of utilizing the Internet to perform research on systems and technologies.
• Understanding and working knowledge of the California area.
• Excellent guest service and people skills and organizational skills.

• Knowledge of personal computer, typing, reading, writing and speaking English.
