Roles & Responsibilities:
Roles & Responsibilities
- Proactive engagement with guests to encourage participation in planned events and/or activities on-site.
- Project a consistently positive and friendly attitude for our guests.
- Understand, convey, and obey safety rules and regulations related to equipment, art supplies and chemicals.
- Costumed character appearances.
- Update seasonal décor in the activity/arcade area and lobby.
- Enforce property policies and procedures.
- All other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be 14 years of age or older
- Previous experience working with children of all ages.
- Positive and approachable personality
- Excellent judgment along with the ability to identify problems and work quickly to find solutions.
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods, climb stairs frequently, and lift up to 30 lbs.
- Must be able to work independently to a high standard of reliability and quality.
- Ability to interact positively with the child(ren) and their chaperones to encourage involvement in activities.
- Ability to recognize and adapt projects/ project instructions to support the individual needs of the child(ren) to be successful.
Education: Any level
Languages: Fluent English
Skills:
- Customer service –strong hospitality skills including, direction interaction with guests, anticipating and responding professionally to guest questions and concerns, and completing and communicating guest requests in a timely manner. Comfortable in a high-pressure customer-oriented environment.
- Creativity – Ability to connect brand characters and their worlds into tangible guest experiences.

- Excellent oral communications skills, including the ability to speak clearly and project your voice daily.
- Very good verbal, written, and listening skills required for both ongoing communications internally, with guests and in leading activities.
- Teamwork – Ability to build positive work relationships that are necessary to meet business objectives.
- Organization – Ability to manage and complete multiple concurrent tasks in a timely manner. Problem Solving – quickly identify when an issue arises and find an appropriate solution.
- Self-directed attention to detail and desire to raise quality
Experience:
Past customer service experience is helpful, but not necessary.
Prior work with children in a support or leadership position in a classroom, camp or other comparative environment preferred.
