Job Summary: The Biller will be responsible for preparing and issuing invoices to clients, recording payments received, and following up on overdue accounts. The Biller will work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely billing and collections.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Prepare and send invoices to clients
- Record payments received and reconcile accounts
- Follow up on overdue accounts and send reminders to clients
- Resolve any billing discrepancies or issues with clients
- Communicate with sales team and account managers regarding billing and collections
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all billing activities
- Assist with month-end close and other accounting tasks as needed
- Other administrative and finance duties as required
Essential qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required, some college coursework in accounting or related field preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in accounts receivable or billing
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
Working conditions:
- Typical office environment with occasional overtime or weekend work during peak periods
- Occasional travel may be required for client visits or meetings
Physical requirements:
- Sedentary work, sitting for extended periods of time
- Some lifting and carrying of boxes or files up to 25 pounds may be required.
