POSITION SUMMARY
As Bar Manager, you are responsible for ensuring that all liquor, beer, and wine products are consistently prepared and served according to the restaurant’s recipes, portioning, set-up, and serving standards.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Scheduling bar labor as required by anticipated business activity while ensuring that all positions are staffed as needed and labor cost objectives are met.
- Controlling bar costs and usage by following proper requisition of products from storage areas, product storage procedures, standard recipes, and waste control procedures.
- Maintaining and taking bar inventories.
- Controlling cash and other receipts by adhering to cash handling and reconciliation procedures in accordance with restaurant policies and procedures.
- Training new bar employees to meet our standards in service and quality.
- Complying with all federal, state, county, and municipal regulations that pertain to health, safety, and labor requirements of the restaurant, employees, and guests.

QUALIFICATIONS
- A minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in food & beverage restaurant operations. Corporate experience preferred.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations and understand finances and cost management.
- Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 10 hours).
- Be able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to withstand changes in temperature, occasional smoke, steam, and heat; able to work in a confined area.
