Job Title : Building Controls and Automation Operator
Work Location : Seattle, WA
Duration : 5 month contract with option to extend
Education / Experience Required : Associates degree, high school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; Minimum of two years of experience in automations, networking, or related fields.
Skills & Qualifications :
- Associates degree, high school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- Minimum of two years of experience in automations, networking, or related fields.
- 3 years building management experience
- Systems / Software proficiencies : Tridium Niagra knowledge preferred, BAS / BMS system knowledge
- 07 electrician's liscense preferred
- Certifications / Licenses : OSHA 30, HVAC preferred, not required
- Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent Excel skills required
- Experience in formatting and manipulating templates and formulas.
- Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions, short correspondence, and memos and ask clarifying questions to ensure understanding.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and / or supervisor.
- Ability to effectively present information to an internal department and / or large groups of employees.
- Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages.
- Ability to understand and carry out general instructions in standard situations.
- Physical requirements include stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs / ladders and ability to lift / carry heavy
