About The Role
As a Business Development Manager, you’ll be a key player in driving the company’s growth by generating and qualifying leads, building meaningful relationships, and helping expand our presence in key markets. Responsibilities
- Lead Generation: Identify, research, and engage with potential partners through outbound outreach methods, including cold calls, emails, and social selling
- Pipeline Development: Qualify leads and nurture them through the sales funnel by understanding their needs and identifying how Paladin’s solutions align with their goals
- Collaborative Sales Efforts: Work closely with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Marketing teams to develop strategies that drive conversions and revenue growth
- CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of all sales activity, leads, and customer interactions in the company’s CRM platform (i.e. HubSpot)
- Market Insights: Stay up-to-date with market trends, competitors, and customer needs to refine outreach strategies and position Paladin as a leader in the industry
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred
- Experience: 1-3 years in a sales, business development, or customer-facing role, preferably in Software-as-a-Service (SaaS)
- Skills:
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building abilities
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales enablement platforms
- Adaptability to thrive in either Charlotte’s growing business landscape or NYC’s dynamic market
- Bonus: Experience in GovTech and/or familiarity with Public Safety
