What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cook position at Palatine Nursing Home?
Palatine Nursing Home is currently seeking a Cook to become a part of our growing team. Our small 70 bed long / short term care facility is conveiently located just minutes from the NYS Thruway, Exit 29, Canajoharie. Come be part of a team, "Where it feels like home and you're treated like family!"
Requirements include but are not limited to :
- Previous dining room / nursing home experience required
- Previous food service experience required
- Customer service skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced enviorment
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs
- Previous cooking experience is required
- Line cooking or restuarant cooking experience
- Must be able to stand, walk, stoop, bend, kneel, lift throughout the day
- Must be a team player with a can do positive attitude
- Must be flexible to work holidays, weekends, off shifts are required
