What You'll Do:
- Recruit and source volunteers for district programs, events, and various volunteer needs.
- Work with and maintain relationships with schools, community partners and general public for volunteer opportunities
- Collaborate with Marketing team to ensure a comprehensive outreach program
- Seek and submit grant opportunities for volunteer projects
- Maintain volunteer paperwork, website, and required compliance tasks
- Develop and implement volunteer recognition program
- Track and report volunteer hours and statistics
- Train volunteers on required safety and program relations policies
- Manage volunteers during events
What We're Looking For:
- Enthusiastic and positive volunteer professional who enjoys working as a team.
- Previous experience managing volunteers and a volunteer program
- Positive person focused philosophy
- Strong organizational, analytical, program solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong customer service and leadership skills.
- Familiarity with Palatine community is a plus
