Event Decorator

Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and executing visually appealing decorations for various events, including weddings, corporate gatherings, and private parties. This role requires a strong understanding of event planning and a passion for creating memorable experiences through innovative design.

Duties

• Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and requirements for events.
• Develop and present decoration concepts that align with the client's theme and budget.
• Source and procure materials, including flowers, fabrics, lighting, and props.
• Set up and dismantle decorations at event venues, ensuring timely execution.
• Coordinate with other vendors such as catering, hospitality, and event management teams to ensure seamless integration of decor.
• Maintain an organized inventory of decoration supplies and equipment.
• Stay updated on current trends in event design and decoration to bring fresh ideas to each project.
• Manage time effectively to meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in event planning or decoration, preferably in hospitality or events management.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Familiarity with catering services and banquet setups is a plus.
• Creative mindset with an eye for aesthetics and detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
• Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with clients and vendors.
