Investment Banking Associate - M&A
PALAZZO is seeking to immediately hire an investment banking associate. This candidate must have at least two years of relevant investment banking experience.
The position is a combination of quantitative (financial models, financial statement analysis, valuations) and qualitative (business development research, market research and collaborate on the development of management presentations).

Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Analysis & Modeling: Develop and refine detailed financial models, perform valuation analyses, and conduct due diligence for potential transactions.
- Transaction Execution: Support the execution of M&A, equity, and debt financing transactions from initial pitch through closing, including preparing pitch books, presentations, and client proposals.
- Market & Industry Research: Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive dynamics relevant to client strategies.
- Client Interaction: Collaborate with senior bankers to manage client relationships, respond to inquiries, and provide strategic insights during client meetings and calls.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams such as legal, compliance, and operations to ensure smooth transaction processes and adherence to regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field
- 2-3 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or management consulting with a strong background in financial analysis and transaction execution.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques, with advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with high attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
