The Director of Operations will serve as a leader to the Support Broker team. The Director of Operations plays a critical role in helping us streamline daily operations to ensure efficiency. This individual should be comfortable communicating with people throughout our organization, able to solve problems and improvise as needed, and adept at estimating and managing time for a variety of tasks. The Director of Operations will remotely manage a team of Support Brokers and will ensure contract deliverables are met.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the Support Broker program, ensuring services are delivered effectively and efficiently.
- Lead the execution of new initiatives, policies, and procedures aimed at improving client outcomes and program efficiency.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the Support Broker team, fostering a positive and productive work environment
- Set clear performance expectations and conduct regular performance evaluations for team members.
- Develop and implement program-wide quality control measures.
- Assist with gathering and reviewing data for required monthly and quarterly reports.
- Follow operational procedures as defined by Palco.
- Conduct in-home visits as required by program guidelines.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, families, service providers, community organizations, and regulatory bodies.
- Address and manage any crisis situations that may arise, ensuring quick resolution and minimal disruption to service delivery.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Proficient skills with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook, and Internet.
- The aptitude for troubleshooting issues and finding effective solutions.
- Precision in managing tasks and data to ensure accuracy.
- Willing to work with people with a diversity of cultures, abilities, and ages.
- Submit to a Criminal background check and maltreatment check.
- Must be willing to travel within the state.
- Must be willing to go into people's homes.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and projects efficiently and manage their time efficiently.
- Must be flexible and adaptable to change and circumstances.
Education and Qualifications
- Experience as a patient navigator, community connector, community health worker, lay health advisor, health educator, resource consultant, support broker, or case manager preferred.
- Experience supervising a small group of remote staff or leadership staff.
- A minimum of 1 year working with special needs population
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred; experience can be considered in place of a degree
