The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to support the Wild Pastures organization and ensure our supply chain and logistics operations function properly. This role will collaborate with other departments, such as Operations and Finance, to create effective business plans. This position will keep track of logistics and update the company’s inventory. They will analyze operational performance and resolve issues. They will also collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure all operations (e.g. shipping, delivery) meet quality and safety standards. Candidates should have experience in project management, as well as great leadership and communication ability.
Essential Functions

- Track inventory levels across all finished goods, raw materials and packaging to ensure inventory levels stay at optimal levels to support the business.
- Help in managing the short & medium-term forecast and supply plan.
- Develop and execute inventory strategy across all warehouse locations and can allocate inventory through resorting facilities.
- Collaboration with all internal warehouses leads to ensure both supply chain & operations are in a position to succeed and expand to support business growth.
- Manage relationship(s) with third party storage facilities and support internal teams with those partners.
- Successfully collaborate with multiple vendors (manufacturers or suppliers).
- Plan & create POs with suppliers.
- Review and reconcile all POs & invoices.
- Establish, maintain and update on-going yield report(s) across all manufacturers and products.
- Identify and build out internal team KPIs, and track performance.
- Help manage, minimize & reduce costs within the supply chain.
- Lead the existing team and continue to build-out a team that aligns with company growth.
- Train and guide team members.

This position is responsible for supervising one team member.

Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience in lieu of degree.
- Minimum five to seven years of experience in supply chain.
- At least two years of experience within supply and demand planning.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and ERP system(s).
Preferred Education & Experience
- Experience supporting supply chain activities in a plant or warehouse environment strongly preferred.
- Experience in Consumer Packaged Goods industry(s) - specifically temperature controlled environments.
- Prior management experience is strongly preferred.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies that weigh up to 20 pounds, and to bend and stand as necessary.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position during regular business hours. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. This position does not require travel.
