As a Bakery Lead, you will support the Bakery Manager by overseeing production activities, ensuring compliance with company policies, and maintaining product quality and efficiency. This is a hands-on role that involves troubleshooting, training, and leading a team to achieve production goals while ensuring a safe and clean work environment.
This position will initially be based at our Canal Street facility until our new West Milwaukee location opens in July.

What You’ll Do…
- Supervise daily production on the designated bakery line, ensuring accurate paperwork and compliance with GMPs and safety standards.
- Troubleshoot and make adjustments to equipment to maintain product quality and output.
- Communicate production schedules and any necessary changes effectively.
- Ensure proper material usage and monitor line speed expectations.
- Maintain line cleanliness and compliance with safety protocols.
- Assist in continuous improvement projects such as RedZone Huddles.
- Report safety incidents and ensure proper use of PPE by all associates.
- Coach and support team members to achieve daily performance goals.
This position has openings on both 1st and 2nd shifts:
- 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
What You Bring…
- 2–5 years of bakery experience, with at least 1 year in a lead role.
- High School Diploma required; coursework in management/leadership is a plus.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Suite and familiarity with GMPs, safety PPE, LOTO, and stand-up forklift operation is preferred.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
- Ability to lift and move up to 65 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong communication skills to effectively lead and support team members.
- You bring a structured approach to task-oriented projects, ensuring smooth production.
- Your problem-solving skills allow you to quickly address production challenges.
- Your attention to detail ensures all safety and quality standards are met.
- You communicate clearly and effectively, making sure your team understands production goals and expectations.
- You thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and enjoy helping your team succeed.
