This position is based at Palermo’s location in Jefferson, WI, a state-of-the-art frozen pizza manufacturing facility with a strong commitment to food safety, operational excellence, and team culture.
When you’ll work…
We are currently hiring an experienced Sanitation Line Lead to work:
- Saturday & Sunday nights, 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Three additional shifts during the week (schedule may vary)
- Two days off during the week
- Flexibility to float between 1st and 2nd shift as needed
- Support our production teams by ensuring Food Safety and Sanitation needs are met for the entire facility.
- Maintain the overall Sanitation program of; Sanitation Operating Procedures (SOP) Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’S) and the Safety Program and Policies.
- Assist Production leadership by overseeing the daily sanitation functions across a 7 day a week operation, as needed, to ensure that the entire facility both in the production lines and general building are cleaned and meet GMP and Food Safety Standards.
- Ensure that all employees are following the proper cleaning and sanitary procedures on line equipment set forth in the SSOP’S and documenting and completing their work according to SOP’S.
- Proven ability to operate safely by following all food and people guidelines including best practices and procedures for sanitation.
- Utilizing knowledge from your 3 years’ food processing sanitation experience to guide sanitation processes to ensure process and procedure are consistently and safely followed.
- Understanding and utilizing experience with SOP, SSOP, GMP and food safety, and sanitizing procedures and protocol.
- Designated lifelong learner with a strong interest in understanding new food manufacturing sanitation rules and requirements.
- Team player with excellent communication skills ready to work hard to ensure the whole Palermo’s team succeeds.
