What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electro-Mechanical Technician position at Palermo Villa Inc?
As an Electro-Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing a variety of electrical and mechanical systems, including conveyor belts, packaging machinery, and food processing and bakery equipment. You will work closely with our production team to minimize downtime and ensure that our equipment meets the highest standards of safety and efficiency.

We offer a $5,000 sign-on bonus! Our Electro-Mechanical Tech roles range from $27.00 to $44.80 per hour plus additional pay for weekends and holidays.

Where you’ll work…
This is an on-site position with opportunities at both our Canal Street facility and our brand-new, state-of-the-art West Milwaukee facility, opening in July 2025! Until the West Milwaukee facility opens, team members will train and work at the Canal Street location.
When you’ll work…
We are currently hiring experienced Electro-Mechanical Technicians across all shifts!
- 1st- 6am to 3pm
- 2nd- 2pm to 11pm
- 3rd- 10pm to 7am
Our maintenance team members work every other weekend and enjoy a 5-day workweek by scheduling days off on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays. Overtime opportunities are also available for those who want to earn more.
What you’ll do…
- Support our production teams by maintaining and repairing all production lines, troubleshooting and performing preventative maintenance on all machinery and equipment.
- Install, repair, rebuild and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment used in production, packaging, and all other plant areas.
- Be involved in all aspects of equipment from installation to rebuilding, fitting, and aligning equipment to meet quality and efficiency standards.
- Demonstrate strong electrical knowledge and troubleshooting skills on controls such as, PLC’s, VFD’s, servos, robotics, and programmable devices.
