Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated driver expo and phone operator to coordinate food items being produced by the kitchen and prepare them for delivery with our drivers. This person will be on their feet, interacting with kitchen team members as well as drivers to ensure that customers receive all of the items on their order. They will take phone calls as well and place orders, as well as operate the drive up/takeaway window.
Responsibilities:
- Receive food from kitchen team members, label, bag and prepare for delivery with the driver team.
- Answer incoming calls, place orders, hang tickets and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Make outbound calls to customers or vendors as needed.
- Provide information about products or services to callers.
- Take messages accurately and relay them promptly to various teams.
- Accurately count down cash drawers and fill out end of day reports.
- Perform and lead end of day duties like cleanup, garbage, restocking and point of sale tasks.
Requirements:
- Attention to detail and accuracy in building/bagging orders for the driver team.
- Strong communication skills and a pleasant phone manner
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in using phone systems and office equipment
- Excellent customer service skills
