As an EMT, you will respond to calls for emergency medical services and provides patient care as directed and/or determined necessary.
Qualifications
Minimum Education:
High school diploma or equivalent – Required
Required Skills:
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Certifications/License:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) - within 30 days of hire
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - within 30 days of hire
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - within 30 days of hire
- Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) - within 30 days of hire
- Handle with Care** Must obtain within 90 days of hire **
- TDSHS EMT-Paramedic Certification or License
