JOB SUMMARY
Supervises daily staff activities for assigned areas. Does intake for the Adult Unit.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1) Determines, coordinates and supervises daily staffing assignments and levels.
2) Provides direction, orientation, training, coaching, and mentoring to staff. Performs or assists with performance evaluations and disciplinary actions.
3) Assesses and ensures quality of services delivered and facilities staff development programs. Ensures staff compliance with departmental and organizational policies, procedures, and protocols.
4) Performs staff responsibilities as needed to fulfill required service levels.
5) Leads the handling and resolution of complex issues and complaints.
6) Manages people using HR/Performance Management processes and systems to align individual performances to achieve organizational results.
Qualifications
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Education
Associates degree required
Graduate of a Program in Nursing Discipline Bachelors degree in Nursing Preferred
Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Required Certifications
BLS, ACLS, Handle with Care must be completed within 90 days of hire PASP Certificate within 90 days of hire.
