We are seeking a Warehouse Operator for our New Iberia, LA location. We are located at 912 Highway 90 East, New Iberia, LA 70560. This position reports to the Assistant Spares Manager.

Your Responsibilities

• Receiving, checking and signing of inbound shipments. Ensuring storage of items and certificates in/to designated locations and people.
• Administrative booking of receipts in the ERP system. Generate sales order & commercial invoice.
• Picking and packing of orders. Maintain shipping and receiving logs and files of shipping records.
• Operate forklift when needed. Drive the company vehicle to make deliveries.
• Printing of transport documentation and labels for picked orders. Repacking/relabeling, weighing and measuring dimensions of items. Informing the transport company about collection of shipments.
• Check and ensure the availability of warehouse consumables like packing materials, cartridges, etc. Reporting and documenting discrepancies by completing and forwarding required forms.
• Maintaining a safe and clean work environment to prevent issues and incidents. Reporting improvement opportunities to Regional Spares Manager.
  
  

Your Qualifications

• A high school diploma is preferred. Experience in/or affinity with logistics. (Experience with technical products and maritime industry is an advantage.)
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team
• Basic computer skills: Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), ERP
• Warehouse equipment maintenance
• Inventory control skills
• Must have clean driving record
