What are the responsibilities and job description for the Media Team Member position at Pali Institute?
Pali Adventures, Pali Institute and Pali Retreat rely heavily on several different digital mediums for marketing purposes. Media Team Members are responsible for documenting a guests experience by creating weekly and bi-weekly videos in addition to capturing photos of the guest's experience. This requires Media Team Members to visit various activity sites while they are in operation and capture content of guests enjoying their activities and the camp experience. The content gathered must then be edited into one cohesive video as well as perform daily and weekly photo uploads.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in both photography and video capture.
- Editing photo and video to a high technical standard.
- Exhibit characteristics of: Responsibility, dependability, leadership, patience, punctuality, hard work, sense of humor, self-control, integrity, common sense, good judgment and a positive enthusiastic attitude.
- Must have completed high school and be a minimum 18 years of age or older.
- Desire and ability to work with children.
- Experience using Davinci Resolve Studio and Adobe Lightroom
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES
- Staff members are entrusted with the care and safety of young children in a rustic setting replete with natural and man-made dangers. All staff members must have the ability to respond immediately to an emergency. Any staff member with a disability that may affect the Staff Member's ability to physically perform these requirements should immediately inform the Human Resources Department to determine possible reasonable accommodations.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Report directly to the Media Director.
- Film and photograph guests as they enjoy their specialties,
- Practice clean communication at all times both in person and over radio.
- Adhere to dress code policy.
- Staff will not give campers their real names before, during or after their employment contract ends.
- Staff must under no circumstance be under the influence of or in possession of any drugs, alcohol or tobacco products.
- Ability to accept supervision, critique and guidance.
- Complaints and concerns go up the chain of command.
- Disparaging remarks or insults about others are not permitted.
- Staff will not use objectionable language.
- Staff will always participate in the assigned activities with professionalism and enthusiasm during afternoon activities, evening activities and general camp life.
- Collaborate with other Media Team Members to ensure that all required content is gathered each week.
- Edit all content to produce a high-energy reel, highlighting all of the key moments from the guest's time spent at camp.
- Work as a member of a team.
- Work to a tight schedule meeting all deadlines.
- Work efficiently with the Davinci Resolve and Adobe Lightroom. Please note we do not use Adobe Premier.
- Upload video and photos to the relevant Pali servers.
- Other duties as assigned by the Media Director.
SALARY AND BENEFITS:
- $16/hour Housing included. $18 an hour with no housing.

Full-time, seasonal, schedule can vary and may include some evenings and weekends.
