What are the responsibilities and job description for the Long-Term Instructional Assistant (IA)/Paraprofessional Substitute position at Palisades High School?
Long-Term Instructional Assistant (IA)/Paraprofessional Substitute –long-term substitute part-time, highly qualified instructional assistant/paraprofessional at Palisades High School, 6 hours/day, starting approximately December 20, 2024 through the end of the 2024/2025 school year. IA will assist student(s) in individual and small group settings with students with special needs. The ability to work calmly with student(s) exhibiting behavioral and academic challenges and an ability to follow the direction of professional staff is needed. Although not required, those with a teaching certification are encouraged to apply. Hourly rate: $22.90/hour after a probationary period, as per contract.
