General Responsibilities : Events
Ensures season long event programming to meet company goals and create memorable guest experience.Host events that align with the Palisades Tahoe brand, representing California’s largest and the nation’s second-largest ski resort.Ideates, solicits and executes on key resort events including working with vendors, internal departments and executes to a high degree.Works with events committee and resort leadership to evaluate event proposals and determine brand fit, seasonal fit and feasibility.Supports event producers throughout the process for alignment on needs, permits, vendor success, sponsor opportunities and joint promotion.Able to creatively organize multiple facets of an event to create animation, drive ticket sales and provide value to stakeholders.Work proactively and thoughtfully with Neighborhood Company, resort partners and mountain operations departments to ensure advance planning and minimal interruption to guests and team members.Work with internal stakeholders to ideate and bring to life holiday events, animation events and giveaways to improve the guest experience. This includes start to finish sponsorship opportunities, marketing and production of these events.Works with marketing channel specialists to drive awareness, ticket sales and event participation.Creates post-event and partnership evaluations inclusive of financial, brand and operational impacts. to determine alignment with company event goals.Manages goals, budget and accounting related to areas of oversight.General Responsibilities : Brand Partnerships
Works closely with Alterra brand partnership team to create, evaluate and execute on company partnerships.Builds meaningful relationships with brand partners and ensures fulfillment of all partnership obligations including hospitality and wrap reports.Identify, solicit and create brand appropriate alliances for both long term and short-term affiliations and revenue generation including brand partnerships, guest / brand experiences, vendor villages and sampling opportunities.Able to judiciously evaluate contract details for reasonableness, ability to execute, appropriateness and value to the brand and company.Manages goals, budget and accounting related to areas of oversight.Works with various inter-company lines of business as a liaison for marketing support to drive line of business goals.Work with third party brands for photo shoot locations by providing photo / video context for inquiries, quoting, logistics, COI, permits and internal coordination.Management Responsibilities :
Leadership : Manage a team of 1-2 employees. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Direct and control the activities of a broad functional area through several department managers.Financial : Responsible for creating and maintaining labor budget. Check and manage payroll for overtime, compliance with labor model. Meet financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.Safety : Establish, implement, and enforce safety standards in accordance with company policies and procedures as well as State & Federal laws.Competencies and Job Requirements :

Required :
Bachelor’s DegreeFour years of event management experience ideally in a resort, DMO or hospitality setting.Two years supervisory experiencePhysical Requirements :
