Job Summary
This role supervises and coordinates activities for a culinary team in multiple venues across Palisades Tahoe Resort. The successful candidate will be responsible for full operations in the absence of the chef.
Key Responsibilities
- Serves as a role model for all grooming and uniform standards.
- Provides top-quality customer service in a friendly and positive manner.
- Supervises and develops the culinary team, including interviewing, hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluation.
- Overses menu production, inventory management, and food preparation.
- Maintains clean and orderly food and beverage facilities, ensuring compliance with health and sanitation regulations.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum two years Sous Chef experience.
- Current CA Food Handler's Manager Card.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work well in a team environment.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
Working Conditions
The employee may be exposed to outside weather conditions, loud noise levels, fumes, odors, and gases. Occasional exposure to dusts, mists, and poor ventilation. Constant exposure to potential mechanical, electrical, burns, and radiant energy hazards. Frequent exposure to toxic, caustic chemical hazards.
