The Revenue Manager will implement and execute innovative strategies to optimize revenue performance across a portfolio of properties. Collaborating with the Managing Director of Revenue Management, this role ensures the achievement of financial targets and strategic goals.

THE TASK AT HAND:

  • Proven track record in revenue management with strong RevPAR penetration.
  • Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset, capable of operating autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills for engaging stakeholders during presentations, including Revenue Strategy meetings and Owners’ Calls.
  • Contribute to the financial success of the hotel through monthly forecasting, annual budgeting, and sales and marketing planning.
  • Assist in leading and training team members to collaboratively optimize RevPAR.
  • Continuously monitor competition, local events, and activities to make real-time adjustments to pricing, inventory, and restrictions.
  • Analyze and generate detailed revenue reports, providing insights and identifying trends across all distribution channels.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Food and Beverage, Operations, and Accounting teams to maximize total revenue.
  • Ensure rate parity and consistency across all OTA sites, property websites, GDS, and other distribution channels.
  • Conduct daily audits of reservations, arrivals, no-shows, and cancellations to identify opportunities and maintain data accuracy.
  • Review travel agent commission reports and communicate revenue strategies and procedures to relevant teams on a weekly basis.
  • Maintain historical statistical data from all channels and market segments.
  • Efficiently manage multiple tasks, projects, and deadlines with strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Foster a positive team environment, motivating staff to achieve revenue targets.
  • Continuously develop and implement best practices across all areas of responsibility.
  • Work closely with the Executive Team to align strategies and achieve shared goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Palisociety vendors and suppliers.


WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

  • Positive attitude with a service-oriented approach.
  • Strong hospitality business acumen with proven ability to manage revenue strategies.
  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple properties with unique market needs.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and speed in performing job functions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word); adaptable to new technology and systems.
  • PMS: Experience with Opera, MEWs, or StayNTouch preferred.
  • RMS: Experience with IDeaS or Duetto preferred.
  • CRS: Advanced Sabre Synxis user.
  • Advanced Excel user.
  • Perform job functions with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Prioritize and organize tasks efficiently, following up when necessary.
  • Demonstrate a hands-on, "roll-up-your-sleeves" attitude.
  • Stay calm and use good judgment to resolve problems.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to deadlines.
  • Travel is required for industry conferences and social outings (up to 4x per year), as well as Palisociety-related meetings and social outings (up to 4x per year).
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Minimum two years in similar position.
