The Coordinator leads event planning and engagement efforts, ensuring seamless execution and meaningful participant experiences. The Coordinator is responsible for financial management, including budgeting, expense tracking, and financial reporting to support organizational goals.
Essential Functions
Event Planning and Engagement
- Assists in the coordination and execution of events related to RSB Centers of Excellence, including registrations, room reservations and set up, communication with Advancement/Creative Services and catering.
- Prepares and oversees the production of agendas, study guides, advertisements, websites, and other personalized event materials.
- Purchases and/or rental of supplies, décor and branded items.
- Provides post-event analysis and reports for Dean and Directors.
- Serves as the first point of contact for the RSB Centers of Excellence including advisory board members, students, and visitors, including providing directions and parking.
- Assists in the hiring and supervision of work study students.
- Assists the Directors and the Dean in purchases related to the Centers.
- Operates all database activities for Center contacts including updating Advancement on changes.
- Assists in travel coordination related to events for students, interns, and work-study.
- Tracks franchising internships and job openings and communicate opportunities to students and advisory board members as needed.
- Serves as the point of contact for
- Partners with Advancement regarding guest speakers and ensures proper classroom setups.
- Coordinates email communications for Centers of Excellence
- Ensures workrooms and supply rooms are orderly and stocked with needed items for events and visitors.
- Assists with center and event marketing.
- Processes reconciliations of monthly financials and purchasing card statements.
- Creates and submit Personnel Action Forms for Directors.
- Assists students and interns with travel reimbursements associated with Titus Center conferences and travel.
EDUCATION:
- Post high school training, required; Bachelor's degree, preferred, or equivalent experience.
- 3 years of office or administrative management.
