Commission (after probationary period): 1% of total store sales

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Sales Professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while driving sales and promoting our products. You will engage with customers, assist them in making informed purchasing decisions, and ensure a positive shopping experience. Your ability to connect with customers and understand their needs will be key to your success in this position.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide assistance throughout their shopping experience.
- Demonstrate product knowledge through engaging product demos and effective communication.
- Utilize basic math skills for accurate cash handling and processing transactions at the cash register.
- Manage inventory by restocking shelves, organizing displays, and maintaining stock levels.
- Upsell products by identifying customer needs and suggesting complementary items.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash register operations.
- Supervise junior staff members when necessary, providing guidance and support to enhance team performance.
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor to create an inviting atmosphere for customers.
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales is preferred but not required; we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems is a plus, as well as experience in cash handling.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse clientele.
- Basic math skills are essential for processing transactions accurately.
- Experience in supervising or mentoring team members is advantageous but not mandatory.
