Summary
The Rehabilitation Tech is responsible for assisting the PT, OT and ST in preparing supplies and equipment for therapeutic use and in carrying out specific routine aspects of operations. The tech is also responsible for maintaining supplies, equipment and clinic areas in a clean, organized manner. Clerical duties include scheduling outpatient appointments, answering phones, completing billing, verifying billing accuracy and filing.
This position is not intended to fulfill pre-therapy school admission requirements.
Qualifications
Education
Required : High school graduate or GED Certificate
Preferred : Health-related Associates degree
Experience
Preferred : 6 months in healthcare setting

American Heart Association BLS
LI-BB2
