About This Role
Responsible for coordinating various aspects of planning, developing, implementing and evaluating the assigned program. Provides program information to students, schools, and community partners. Coordinates the clinical placements with educators in healthcare institutions. Creates and conducts information sessions, maintains student records, prepares reports, and responds to program inquiries.
What a Day Of a Clinical Coordinator Looks Like
- Develops and coordinates program and course schedules, faculty assignments, and test dates. Maintains and adjusts calendar as necessary to track these schedules.
- Advises students on college related matters. Provides consultation and assistance regarding specific matters within area of expertise.
- Assists with scheduling the required clinical components of programs.
- Provides information to the public, students, and staff regarding programs and services of the department or College.
- Oversees program to document and maintain student health records. Collects immunization requirements.
- Completes and processes applications or forms for funded programs.
- Coordinates and conducts student admissions, registration and pre-registration. Processes corresponding registration materials.
- Prepares or assists in the preparation of various educational programs and educational activity reports (e.g., graduation distribution, enrollment, and funding). This includes accrediting agency reports as well as association surveys.
- Collects data needed to perform planning and programming activities through methods including field surveys, interview, and records research.
- Distributes information to personnel in programs, explains procedures and clarifies new policies and procedures.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Education And Experience
- Bachelor’s degree
- One year of related experience in dental health field
- Microsoft Office Professional or similar applications
- Attention to detail while maintaining effective time and task management
- Strong leadership
- Effectively communicate verbally and in writing on a regular basis with internal and external customers, build relationships, manage customer expectations and take responsibility for a high level of service
- Handle highly sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality
- Interact in a positive manner with diverse populations and varying education levels of students, faculty, staff, and the public
- Regular physical attendance required
- Lift, carry, push, pull, install or remove objects weighing 20 to 49 pounds
- Reach and grasp objects
- Stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Use of video display terminal
- Use of manual dexterity and fine motor skills
- Communicate information orally and in writing

- Proofread and check documents for accuracy
