Our established Medical Group is hiring CVOR Registered Nurses to join our team near Daytona Beach, FL! The CVOR RN will be responsible for participation in the surgical suite to function in the role of Circulator and assist the CT Surgeon in performing surgical procedures.
You will enjoy the beaches, outstanding weather, a low cost of living in Florida with lots of surfing, boating, fishing, golfing, NASCAR, and festivals. You are also an hour drive from Orlando’s theme parks and airport!!
This position is accompanied with up to a $15,000K sign-on bonus
Schedule : Full Time / Days
Position overview : The cardiovascular operating room nurse specializes in the care of cardiovascular patients before, during and following surgical procedures. The CVOR nurse participates in the sedation of patients and assists physicians during the procedure by administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and applying dressings. The CVOR nurse coordinates the entire operating room with respect to sterility, cleanliness and availability of functioning equipment and supplies, as well as provides critical quality control to ensure the patient's safety.
Qualifications and requirements :
- Current registered nurse license with the Florida State Board of Examiners or ability to get one, (FLORIDA IS A MEMBER OF COMPACT)
- Current BLS / ACLS required within one year
- 1-2 years general nursing experience in an acute care setting preferred
- 1-3 years in a required specialty; CVOR, OR, or Cath Lab preferred
