Responsibilities: **MUST BE PROFICIENT IN OPEN DENTAL** ** MUST BE ABLE TO MAKE TEMP CROWNS**COMFORTABLE PRESENTING TREATMENT**
- Provide leadership and guidance to the clinical team
- Assist in the training and onboarding of new team members
- Ensure adherence to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols
- Assist the dentist with patient procedures, including taking X-rays and providing chairside support
- Conduct patient assessments, including taking vital signs and documenting medical history
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
- Utilize knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy to effectively communicate with patients and team members
- Proficiently navigate open dental software
Qualifications:
-Front and back office experience, phone skills, computer knowledge, and an outgoing personality.
-Travel between 2 offices. Palm city/Port St Lucie -Digital scanning experience a plus. Itero or TRIOS systems.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience as a clinical assistant or similar role
- Certified dental assistant preferred
- Strong knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, and instruments
- Proficient in taking X-rays and conducting patient assessments
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
- Ability to lead a team and provide guidance when needed
