Duties
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' needs and develop individualized rehabilitation plans.
- Provide counseling services, including gender issues counseling, to address specific client concerns and promote mental well-being.
- Utilize psychopharmacology knowledge to support clients in understanding their medication regimens and managing side effects.
- Implement therapeutic interventions such as art therapy to encourage self-expression and emotional healing.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including healthcare providers, social workers, and family members, to ensure holistic support for clients.
- Monitor client progress and adjust rehabilitation plans as necessary to meet evolving needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress reports in compliance with regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Rehabilitation Counseling, or a related field;
- Proven experience in counseling or rehabilitation settings is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of gender issues counseling techniques is essential.
- Familiarity with psychopharmacology principles is preferred.
- Experience or training in art therapy is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with diverse populations.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
