CountryPlace Mortgage, a leading nationwide personal property, mortgage and commercial lender headquartered in Plano, TX, is seeking a Business Development Manager to grow our Commercial Lending business which specializes in floorplan and other commercial lending specific to manufactured housing retailers and communities and assist in growing our personal property and mortgage business.
This in-person role is in our Plano, TX office. This role will drive sales efforts, streamline processes, and support product growth for our commercial and consumer lending operations. This role involves cross-functional collaboration coordinating with Regional Sales Managers, manufacturing teams, and supporting trade shows.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead sales and maintenance efforts for the commercial lending product lines
- Drive floorplan sales for new and existing territories, both selling and maintaining the floorplan sales pipeline
- Assist in expanding personal property and mortgage retailer relationships and loan volume
- Develop emerging territories by scouting and onboarding new retailers
- Set up and remotely manage new territories including initial and occasional future visits
- Manage the consumer and floorplan application process and customer experience
- Maintain a stakeholder focus, meeting and exceeding service level commitments
- Ensure all documentation is collected to complete the application package and agreements are executed
- Collect documentation and information to assist and support with underwriting process
- Full understanding of entity legal ownership structure and providing clear, concise explanation of those structures
- Timely communication to key stakeholders (retailers, manufacturers, sales and management) throughout the process
- Attend and coordinate trade shows including marketing materials and booth delivery installation
- Assist in developing floorplan training for sales reps
- Develop marketing flyer and trade show banner messaging in coordination with Cavco marketing
- Enhance and coordinate development of RSM and manufacturing relationships
- Perform other related duties as required and assigned
- Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills, with the ability to multi-task
- Good problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with a wide range of people
- Strong understanding of business financial statements and financial statement analysis
- Outstanding organizational and project management skills to balance portfolio management and deal execution responsibilities
- Previous experience in sales, marketing, or related field ideally within the banking and finance industry
- Effective decision-making, customer service, and problem-solving skill
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- BA/BS degree required in Finance, Accounting, or Business
- 3 years of business development experience in the lending industry
