Breast Oncology Nurse Practitioner Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced professional to join our prestigious Cancer Center team in Palm Springs, California.
The ideal candidate will provide direct patient care to Breast Cancer patients and support a multidisciplinary health team within the scope of their Certified Nurse Practitioner license and hospital privileges.
This is a full-time day shift position in an outpatient setting with an excellent quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnostics and Therapeutics: Assist physicians in diagnosing, treating, and managing patients in the Breast Cancer Program by performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- Patient Care: Conduct thorough patient histories, perform physical examinations, and record data in the electronic medical record. Write progress notes, prepare patient workups, and summarize pertinent findings.
- Laboratory and Imaging Studies: Order and schedule laboratory studies, imaging studies, and diagnostic procedures. Explain the necessity, preparation, nature, and anticipated effects to patients.
- Independence: Function independently to perform complete histories and physical exams.
- Treatment Planning: Develop treatment plans based on patient needs.
