Why PALM Health?
The PALM Health Cafe is known to serve excellent food of high quality and nutritional value, including smoothies, baked goods, salads, daily specials, and well-balanced meals. The PALM Health Cafe is currently looking for a part-time prep cook to work weekday afternoons, typically starting around 2pm and ending around 7pm.
Cafe Cook
The Cafe Cook will help in all areas of the Cafe, from prepping, grilling, helping with dishes, and perhaps taking orders. Duties include setting up workstations and ingredients, preparing food to order, and jumping in to assist in areas of need. Qualified candidates must be able to work well and collaboratively in a busy environment, be quick and diligent, and willing to improve on the job.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year experience as a prep cook (required)
- Knowledge of health and safety rules in a kitchen (required)
- Manual dexterity: able to operate cutting tools and kitchen utensils (required)
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
