We are hiring an experienced Board Certified Cardiac Surgeon to be an instrumental part of our hospital cardiac surgery program!
Join a reputable Hospital in Upstate New York with excellent patient outcomes and reputation! The program is budgeted for 4 cardiac surgeons and will consider a J1 Visa Waiver Candidate. The program has been doing cardiac surgery since the 90s!
We are looking for a strong surgeon as we are the only surgery program in the area and performed about 400 cardiac surgery cases last year, with plans to do even more with additional surgeons joining the team! The closest program is over 1 hour away, providing a lot of opportunity!
We have 3 new mid-levels with about 2 years of experience and are looking to keep growing the program. We perform all cardiac surgeries except LVADs (which we would like to eventually do since we already follow post-LVAD patients) and Transplants (never). We also handle Thoracic surgeries and have a robot available that one of our surgeons uses for thoracic procedures. Note : we do not perform Vascular surgeries as we have vascular surgeons who handle that work.
