Overview :

The Full-Time Busser at Palm House plays a vital role in providing support to the serving team, ensuring a smooth dining experience for guests during the evening shift. This role involves assisting servers with delivering food and beverages, maintaining a clean and organized dining area, and ensuring that guests' needs are met promptly and efficiently. The PM Server Assistant helps create a welcoming atmosphere while working closely with other team members to maintain high standards of service.

Key Responsibilities :

• Guest Service Support : Assist servers in delivering food and beverages to guests promptly and accurately. Ensure that guests' needs are met throughout their dining experience.
• Table Setup & Maintenance : Help set up tables before service, including arranging silverware, glassware, and condiments. Replenish supplies during service and reset tables as needed.
• Food & Beverage Delivery : Deliver food and drinks to guests as directed by the server, ensuring correct orders are served in a timely manner. Handle trays, plates, and beverages carefully to avoid spills or accidents.
• Clear Tables : Clear dishes, glassware, and utensils from tables after guests have finished. Maintain cleanliness in the dining area by promptly removing empty plates and glasses.
• Assisting Servers : Provide servers with the necessary support to complete their tasks efficiently, including refilling drinks, providing additional utensils or condiments, and running food or drinks from the kitchen / bar.
• Cleaning & Organizing : Keep the dining room area clean and organized throughout the shift, including cleaning tables, chairs, and floors. Ensure all areas, including the server station, are well-stocked and orderly.
• Communication : Maintain clear and effective communication with servers, kitchen staff, and management. Inform the server or manager of any guest requests or issues.
• Guest Interaction : Provide excellent customer service by assisting guests with inquiries or requests when appropriate, ensuring a positive and efficient dining experience.
• Assist with Takeout & To-Go Orders : Support servers with packing takeout or to-go orders, ensuring proper packaging and accuracy before handing them to guests.
• Safety & Cleanliness : Adhere to health and safety standards and restaurant protocols. Ensure that all food and beverage items are handled according to proper sanitation practices.
