Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the dental office, ensuring a smooth workflow and optimal patient experience.
- Oversee scheduling, patient records, and appointment management using software such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft.
- Supervise administrative staff and coordinate training for new employees.
- Ensure compliance with health regulations and standards set by JCAHO.
- Maintain accurate financial records and manage billing processes.
- Implement policies and procedures to enhance office efficiency and patient satisfaction.
- Collaborate with dental professionals to support clinical operations and improve managed care processes.
- Handle patient inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner.
- Assist in human resources functions including recruitment, onboarding, and performance evaluations.
Experience
- Proven experience in medical administrative support or dental office management is preferred.
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems such as Epic or Dentrix is advantageous.
- Background in critical care or managed care settings is a plus.
- Strong understanding of medical management principles and practices.
- Previous experience in human resources functions is desirable.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
