The Palm Springs Unified School District has sixteen elementary schools, five middle schools, four comprehensive high schools, one continuation high school, alternative education programs, one independent study program, and several headstart / state preschools. Valid CA Class C Driver's License and Evidence of Insurability.

Proof of High School graduation or equivalent (HS diploma, HS transcripts, or GED).

A five minute Typing Certificate validating ability to type a minimum of 50wpm Net Speed. Typing certificates from other credible organizations may be accepted. (Must include letterhead and authorized signature - No online typing certificates accepted)

Three current letters of recommendation from direct supervisors, must be within the last year. (PSUSD Regular employees are only required (2) letters of recommendation)

SUMMARY :

Under the direction of an assigned administrator, perform a variety of specialized duties in the recruitment, screening, selection, classification and

processing of new personnel; serve as a technical resource to employees regarding personnel functions, activities, laws, codes, rules, regulations,

policies and procedures.

JOB REQUIREMENTS : MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Any combination equivalent to : graduation from high school supplemented by college-level course work in human resources or related field and three years

increasingly responsible clerical experience including frequent public contact and work with human resources functions involving the recruitment, screening and

processing of new employees.
