Responsibilities:
· Manage nursing department
· May be required to respond to situations on a 24/7 basis
· Serves as facilities Infection Preventionist
· Responsible for overall clinical management
· Maintain communication with collaborating physicians and facility Medical Director
· Completes rounds to ensure compliance
· Provide orientation and training for clinical staff
· Assume responsibilities of daily operations of facility in Administrator’s absence
Requirements:
· Valid state licensure as an RN in good standing
· Management or supervisory experience in long term care preferred
· Experience in long term care, acute care, restorative or geriatric nursing preferred
