Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated, reliable and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team. Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians in treating animals by preparing and maintaining examination rooms.
- Perform laboratory tests, including blood work, urinalysis, and fecal exams.
- Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as directed by the veterinarian.
- Provide support in veterinary care situations, ensuring the safety and comfort of animals.
- Good communication skills, positivity and teamwork
- Conduct pet grooming tasks, including bathing, nail trimming, and ear cleaning.
- Implement proper animal husbandry practices to promote health and well-being.
- Restrain animals safely during examinations and procedures to minimize stress for both the animal and staff.
- Maintain accurate medical records for all patients while ensuring confidentiality.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Veterinary Technician or in a similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with laboratory procedures and equipment used in veterinary medicine.
- Demonstrated ability to perform animal restraint techniques safely and effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with pet owners and team members effectively.
