What You’ll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities):
- Lead with Impact: Oversee all stewarding department operations, from employee supervision to facility efficiency and cost management.
- Maintain Pristine Standards: Ensure sanitation, cleanliness, hygiene, and exceptional quality for food and beverage services.
- Guide Your Team: Direct and assist Stewards to streamline cleanup processes and day-to-day operations.
- Collaborate for Excellence: Coordinate with the Sous Chef to establish par stock requirements, approve requisitions, and ensure optimal supply levels.
- Polish the Details: Ensure silverware treatment and maintenance aligns with cleaning schedules.
- Hygiene Champion: Supervise and enforce hygiene practices in all F&B back-of-house areas for a safe and clean environment.
- Optimize Equipment Standards: Monitor and maintain cleaning excellence for all containers, surfaces, and equipment used in food preparation and storage.
- Master Chemical Management: Supervise cleaning supplies, their proper usage, and care while ensuring efficient receiving and storing.
- Drive Collaboration: Work closely with the Kitchen and Service teams to ensure operational success.
Your Recipe for Success (Qualifications):
- Experience That Counts: Minimum of five years of relevant experience, with at least two years as a Lead Steward or Assistant Lead Steward in a hotel, private club, or large restaurant with strong standards.
- Bilingual Bonus: Fluency in English and Spanish.
- Credentials Matter: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Training Enthusiast: Participate in scheduled training programs to elevate personal and departmental standards.
