Founded in 1916, Palma Ceia Golf & Country Club is located in Tampa’s most prestigious residential neighborhood and is the Tampa Bay area’s premier private club. The club features an 18-hole championship golf course, tennis courts, swimming, a fitness center, and a clubhouse for member entertaining, dining, and banquets. Our main focus is providing our members and their guests with outstanding facilities and the highest standard of service.
Job Openings
We are currently seeking both Breakfast and PM Cooks, as well as Line/Rounds Cooks, with previous experience and established culinary skill sets. These positions will work under the supervision of the Sous Chef to prepare food in accordance with established standards. Candidates must demonstrate artistic ability and an eye for detail in visual presentation.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and execute the menu as per the Sous Chef’s specifications.
- Produce the highest quality products possible while making efficient use of time and ingredients.
- Adhere to club policies with the specific goal of ensuring member satisfaction.
- Strive to exceed expectations in all areas of food preparation and presentation.
- Assist other kitchens and/or departments as needed.
- Follow food safety regulations and adhere to food handling standard procedures.
- Minimize waste through responsible food production practices.
- Maintain a hygienic work environment, ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and availability of ingredients.
- Properly use and maintain kitchen equipment.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Self-motivated with a passion for preparing high-quality food.
- Ability to think independently and use sound judgment in all culinary tasks.
- Ability to work under pressure and endure long hours of standing.
- Ability to comfortably lift up to 50 lbs and remain on your feet for an entire shift (excluding breaks).
- Previous experience in a kitchen, with a focus on breakfast or dinner service, is preferred.
Salary : $19 - $23
