Role and Responsibilities :

Retrieve and prepare stock products for cutting processes.
Observe and adhere to safety and quality standards during operations.
Open and prepare items for further processing.
Operate the Marelec automated cutter, efficiently feeding product through the machine.
Sort and tray cut products post-processing, ensuring readiness for the packaging team.
Observe and take direction from Level 4 Cutters and Supervisor to learn cutting fundamentals and safe practices.
Adhere to USDA regulations, maintaining punctuality and compliance with all safety protocols.
Wear required personal protective equipment, including hair nets, beard guards, and butcher coats.
Inspect materials and finished products for quality and compliance with specifications.
Operate and maintain production equipment, ensuring it is clean and functions properly.
Work closely with team members to meet production goals and timelines.
Must be on the production floor on-time and ready to work unless communicated to supervisor by use of the attendance hotline.
Required to follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications :
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or state issued equivalency certificate.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle physical tasks.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in meat processing or a related field is a plus.
Understanding of food safety regulations is a plus.
Salary Range :
17.00- $19.00 / hour

Must be able to stand, walk, stoop, bend, kneel, sit, operate warehouse
Must be able to use hands to handle and feel objects, perform fine finger movements, reach with hands and arms, and have the ability to see, talk, and hear.
Must be able to regularly lift and carry up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
Ability to work in a cold environment for extended periods with temperatures reaching -10
Possess normal vision with or without correction and able to distinguish colors
Possess fluent speech in English, writing and communication skills necessary to effectively carry out job functions
