SUMMARY
We are seeking a highly skilled Propane and Oil Service Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service by efficiently maintaining and repairing all Propane and Oil appliances sold by the company.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive company vehicles safely to perform requested service at customer's home or place of business.
- Respond to scheduled service calls and follow company policies and procedures.
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues and explain the diagnosis and resolution to customers.
- Install, repair, and maintain gas and oil appliances, heating systems, and related equipment.
- Maintain required paperwork and notes on customer accounts.
- Assist in training new employees and work on various projects as assigned by the manager.
REQUIREMENTS
- One year certificate from college or technical school, or three or more years of related experience and/or training.
- Valid Drivers License.
- NH gasfitter's license is mandatory.
- Maine and Mass gasfitter's licenses are a plus.
- Maine Oil and Mass Oil licenses are a plus.
- A/C skills are a plus, and the ability to learn is essential.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and a safe driving record are also required.

WORK HOURS
The Propane and Oil Service Technician will work on a rotating schedule with varying shifts during the winter season and standard Monday-to-Friday hours during the spring and summer months.
Pay Rate: $30-$40 per hour
License Requirements: NH gasfitter's license is mandatory
