Branch Manager

Job Description

This locally-owned and community-focused financial institution is searching for an experienced leader to act as their next Branch Manager to oversee two of their busier branch locations. Reporting directly to the SVP, this role will assign and direct all activities within the branch. A very hands-on approach is needed to manage staff and continue to enhance the environment and customer satisfaction within the branches. What you will do :

• Supervise and lead branch operations
• Manage the teller department and provide day-to-day leadership and guidance
• Provide account services to customers
• Underwrite and produce smaller retail loans to customers
• Train, develop, and motivate branch teams
• Improve processes through active sharing across branches regarding best practices
• Address customer and staff issues promptly
• Network and establish oneself within the community to improve the branch's reputation

What you will need to be successful :

• 4 years of related experience operating / managing a branch or similar role
• 1 year of underwriting experience preferred
• Experience managing or being involved with tellers
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
• Familiarity with banking rules and regulations
